The Flood Warning continues for the Housatonic River at Falls Village Connecticut. * Until further notice. * At 1 PM Tuesday the stage was 7.5 feet. * Flood stage is 7 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * The river will remain near 7.5 feet this afternoon... then recede to around 7.4 feet by late Wednesday evening. It is not expected to drop below flood stage until Thursday evening. * Impact... at 7.0 feet... water reaches a picnic area along Route 7 near the Housatonic Meadows and gets close to Riverside Road at the Kent school.

It will be about an inch lower by midday Wednesday. * Impact... at 8.0 feet... water starts to recede off youngfield steet and the New Milford foundry
