A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected.
However... all interested parties should take necessary precautions
immediately.
Excessive runoff from heavy rain will cause flooding of creeks and
small streams... as well as significant flooding of country roads.
Follow the advice of local officials and evacuate if asked to do so.
Steer clear of rivers and streams in flood... due to the high water
the river banks may be unstable. Avoid the risk of being swept away
by flood waters.
Do not drive in areas where water covers the roadway... the water may
be deeper than you think. Turn around... Don/T drown.
